A multi-cell severe weather event was forescasted in Jefferson and Saline counties, southeast Nebraska. A tornado warning was issued for a tornadic thunderstorm located over Swanton about 17 miles north of Fairbury at 7:40pm, and ended at 8:15. The storm birthed a nearly stationary supercell, which rotated and recycled over the corridor for multiple hours.
